The intro lesson allows me to create a judgement on the current skill of the person I am teaching, and allows you to experience how I teach before other lessons. No pressure to book after an intro lesson, book and learn!

How We Learn

My lessons focus on keeping chess fun and entertaining, as I believe that making chess as enjoyable as possible encourages kids to play more and explore outside of lessons.

02. All bases covered

Each session we alternate which part of the game we cover, going on a four session cycle of opening, middlegame and endgame.

NOTE: Before booking, please send me a message beforehand so we can arrange where we are meeting, and to double check availability.

Tactical awareness and gaining pattern recognition skills throughout the game is vital to chess improvement.

03. Tailored to you

My new system allows your child to direct their own learning, allowing them to identify their own strengths and weaknesses and address gaps early.
